Mentoring Challenges & Opportunities: building your bond, by Jeferson Souza and Vic Grosjean
Jeferson is a Volunteering Director at PMI Melbourne Chapter. Previously, Jeferson was volunteering at Sao Paulo PMI Chapter in Brazil.
Jeferson had taken roles of Project Manager, PMO Manager, Business Development, Technical Account Manager, Solution Sales Manager and Project Manager for top tier organisations and markets, in several projects spread across international locations (Brazil, Germany, Sweden and Australia). Currently Jeferson is working as Senior Consultant at CGI (Conseillers en gestion et informatique – Australia)
Vic is a Chartered Engineer with 13 years of Ocean experience and Principal Consultant at OceanX Group. Vic holds a formal qualification in Mechatronics Engineering and Environmental Monitoring.
As a supporter of Rotary Values and former President of Melbourne City Rotaract Club (MCRC), Vic has been providing an innovative approach to clean water through his environmental project “The OceanCleanX”. As a leader and community educator, he strives for projects to reduce water pollution on a global scale and make a long-term difference for humanity. His career focus is to build collaboration between organizations in order to advance Engineering and preserve the Environment with the ultimate goal of Saving our Oceans.
In 2018, Vic Grosjean was selected by Barry Rassin, President
of Rotary International, to showcase his work at the United Nations in Kenya and was named “1 of 6 Rotary’s People of Action: Young Innovators”.
In 2019, Vic was also named one of “Australia’s Most Innovative Engineers” by Engineers Australia CEO, Peter McIntyre.
Jeferson and Vic will talk about their mentoring experience, how an effective mentoring increases confidence, productivity, success and enhances career satisfaction of both mentor and mentee.
