About the South Pacific Rotary Conference

In September of 2019, we will all be gathering together in Christchurch New Zealand for the New Zealand Australia South Pacific Rotary Conference.
Christchurch suffered a lot from the disastrous earthquake. They have been slowly rebuilding their city from that time on and will continue to do so for some time yet. Rotarians, Rotary Clubs and Districts from across our Zones contributed in many different ways to help the people and community of Christchurch to overcome the disaster. People will be able to go to Christchurch to see how the city has recovered and experience its rebuilding plus support their tourist industry. This conference will be one of the first in the city since the earthquake.

Rotary brings together a global network of passionate volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work impacts many lives at both the local and international levels, from helping families in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world.

Join the conversation and help us clean our oceans!
