12, January 2005 – Fundraising for the association Vaincre la Mucoviscidose
Vic Grosjean fundraised for the association Vaincre La Mucoviscidose
Wednesday, 12 January 2005 marked a deeply meaningful moment on the beaches of Le Mourillon, as students, families, and staff came together for the Course de l’Espoir (Race of Hope)—an event that set the tone for the year with solidarity, generosity, and hope.
A Collective Effort for a Greater Cause
This major gathering brought together students from primary school (CP) through to final-year students (Terminale), all united by a single goal: supporting the fight against cystic fibrosis. Participants took part on foot, by bicycle, or on roller skates, transforming the beachfront into a vibrant and inspiring scene of commitment and energy.
The objective of the event was clear: to raise funds for the association Vaincre la Mucoviscidose, which works tirelessly to combat a disease that affects many children and families.
Generosity That Made a Difference
Each student had the opportunity to collect donations from:
-
Family members
-
Friends and relatives
-
Members of the public, for those who wished to go further
Thanks to this incredible mobilisation, over €8,000 was raised.
Every euro was donated in full to Vaincre la Mucoviscidose, represented within our establishment by Mrs Nicole Adolphe.
This result stands as a powerful testament to what can be achieved when a community unites behind a shared cause.
A Message of Hope and Gratitude
Your motivation, generosity, and commitment provided invaluable support to the association. Beyond the financial contribution, this event reinforced an essential message: progress is driven by empathy, knowledge, and collective action.
May the year ahead continue to push back the boundaries of understanding, bringing us closer to the day when this disease can be eradicated.
After all, aren’t these children just like you and me?
Don’t they deserve the same happiness and hope that drives us forward?
With Sincere Thanks
My heartfelt thanks go to every participant, donor, organiser, and supporter who made the Course de l’Espoir a success. Your actions have made a real difference—and your generosity will not be forgotten.
With sincere gratitude.
