Vic Grosjean presenting on ‘Environmental Sustainability – Oceans, Waterways, Plastics and Us”.
The 9810 Rotary 2022 District Conference in Caufield will focus on the theme: One Rotary Family Working Together – «Serve to Change Lives». Meet us on Saturday 26th of March 2022 at Caufield Racecourse.
Each year our Rotary District 9810 in Eastern Melbourne, Australia, stages a District Conference to highlight key endeavours of our Rotary Clubs, to celebrate the work and achievements of our 1000 plus Rotarian members and to bring together the various elements of our Rotary community in this part of the world. Our 2022 District Conference will be held in the early evening of Friday 25th March (on-line) and all-day Saturday 26th March (in-person) at the Caulfield racecourse near the centre of Melbourne.
We have taken as our major theme, ‘One Rotary Family Working Together,’ and will be involving all our Rotary community, including members of our Earlyact clubs in upper primary school, our Interact Clubs in secondary schools and our Rotaract clubs which consist of young people aged 18 – 30.
In particular, we will be focusing on the two key sub-themes of ‘Healthy World’ and ‘Healthy People.’ Our work with these two sub-themes will involve acknowledging and marking the launch of ‘The Environment’ as a key focus of Rotary’s global action and provide a chance to celebrate the work of all our clubs in this area. In addition to hearing from Keynote Speakers, we plan to stage Breakout sessions conducted by experts in the various fields, to further advance our own understanding and showcase Rotary work across both themes.
